Sitting inland north-west of Storm's End, Bronzegate guards a stretch of the road towards the kingswood and the crownlands. Its lords take their name from the great bronze-studded gates set in its walls.
House Buckler holds it under the Baratheons and rides among the stormlander cavalry when the banners are called. The castle's inland position leaves it less exposed to the storms and raids that trouble the coastal seats.
