Overlooking the Sunset Sea on the western coast north of Casterly Rock, the Crag is a crumbling castle whose seaward towers have partly fallen into the water below. Caves riddle the rock beneath it.
House Westerling holds it, an old family of proud lineage but very little wealth left, sworn to the Lannisters. Their line is said to carry the blood of the ancient Kings of the Rock, which the Westerlings mention rather more often than their creditors do.
