Set on the shore of Cape Wrath facing the narrow sea, the Rain House sits in a region that receives more rainfall than anywhere else in the Seven Kingdoms. The rainwood presses close behind it.

House Wylde holds the castle for the Baratheons. Damp, storms and thick forest make the surrounding lands difficult to farm and difficult to march through, which has kept the holding quiet through most wars.
