Sitting on the coast east of Sunspear near the mouth of the Greenblood, Lemonwood takes its name from the lemon trees that grow around it in unusual abundance for Dorne. Sea breezes make the site more temperate than the interior.
House Dalt holds it as bannermen of the Martells. Ser Deziel Dalt was known as the Lemonknight, and the family remains among the closer supporters of the ruling house.
