A modest tower and holdfast in the country south of Casterly Rock, this seat covers only a few hundred acres near the Lannister heartland. It is a knight's holding rather than a lordship.

House Clegane was raised to it three generations ago after a kennelmaster saved a Lannister lord from a lioness, and three black dogs on yellow recall the deed. The Cleganes serve the Lannisters directly and have made a hard name in their service.
