Perched on a headland above the narrow sea on the eastern edge of Cape Wrath, Griffin's Roost commands a stretch of rough coast reached by a single causeway. The rainwood lies inland to the west.
House Connington holds it as bannermen of Storm's End. Jon Connington, once a close friend of Rhaegar Targaryen and briefly Hand of the King, was stripped of the seat after failing the crown during Robert's Rebellion.
