Rising above the Haunted Forest west of the Milkwater, the Fist is a bare stone hill crowned by a ring wall built in the Age of Heroes. Steep slopes on three sides make it defensible by a small force.
Rangers use it as a camp when they push deep into the lands beyond the Wall, since the height gives long views over the trees. The First Men who raised the ringwall left no records, and only the weathered stones remain of their work.
