Reaching west from the coast north of the Neck, this cape divides Blazewater Bay from the Sunset Sea. It is bleak country of moor, rock and small fishing villages, with Flint's Finger lying to the south.

The name comes from the ironborn, who held the peninsula for long stretches of history and used it as a base against the western North. Northern lords have taken it back more than once, but reavers still find its coves convenient.
